Window seat guides: which side of the plane to sit on

Mountains, islands and coastlines you can see from the window on popular flights from the UK, side by side, worked out by the same window seat guide that's in the Flown app.

Each guide follows the direct route between the two airports and lists what's within view on the left (seat A) and on the right, roughly how far into the flight you'll pass it, and which side the sun is on. Real flights wander a little from the direct route, so take these as likely rather than certain, and clouds permitting.
